February Favourites

It's finally March hoo-bloody-rah!! Hopefully we've seen the last of this grizzly weather and the sun will come out? Maybe? Please?!

Anyway, here's what I was loving last month.

*Pixi Sheer Cheek Gel in Flushed -this thing has not been off my lips/cheeks all month. See full review here.

*Clinique High Impact Mascara-I've actually been using this for ages but only in mini sample sized tube from various Bonus Time gifts. I definitely need to purchase a full sized one because I really love it. It's properly black, gives amazing volume and definition without looking spidery.

*Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 54 Boy-this is the perfect 'my lips but better' colour and the formula is to die. Been reviewed to death on other blogs but it's one of those few products that is totally worth the hype.

*Dolce & Gabbana The One-this is my all time favourite perfume. I am terrible at describing fragrances, so I won't bother. 'The fragrance features top notes of mandarin and peach that leads into a heart of jasmine and ends with a base of vanilla, amber and musk. The One for Her is a warm, oriental floral with modern sensuality. It's a fragrance with a strong personality and a contrasting golden sweetness. Created for the ultimate diva, the one is at once tempting, modern and glamorous, embracing a touch of classicism.' Well that's just me down to a t :)

*OPI Tickle My France-y- the perfect dirty pink nude. Keeping me looking polished on lazy days.

*MAC Powersurge Eye Kohl-this battered shrunken eyeliner is actually my second one. I've been using it for a long time because it gives definition without making eyes look smaller. I'll be repurchasing again soon as it's getting down to a nub and it's a bit embarrassing.

*Paul Mitchell Strength shampoo-I got this in January's Glossy Box and whilst I don't know if it's made my hair any stronger it definitely makes it soft and quite shiny.

What were you loving in February?

p.s. I got this up on the first of the month for the first time ever, yay!

January Favourites

Crap at getting these posts up at the beginning of the month. Ten days late, ten days!! Must do better next time.

*Steam Cream-I received a full size tin of this in my Latest in Beauty Advent calendar, thrilled! I know it's been discussed to death on various blogs so don't expect a full review but I do really like this. Not so much on my face but I carry it around with me to use on hands, elbows etc and it makes a huge difference to dry winter skin.
*Clinique Chubby Stick 06 Woppin' Watermelon is a nice bright pink shade. The sheerness of the product stops it being scary and makes it easily wearable for every day. Huge fan of Chubby Sticks but the £16 price tag makes me cringe.
*MAC Trax eyeshadow is probably my all time favourite shade from any brand. It's purple/gold colour is so complex and it can easily be incorporated into day or night make up. This tutorial from Pixiwoo is my favourite way to wear it. I love how much it brings the green out in my hazel eyes too.
*MAC Vanilla Pigment has become my every day go to highlighter for cheeks and brows etc. It is quite intense if not blended in but I love it. I've had this for a few years now and only broke it out for special occasions but now I'm getting my money's worth from it. I swear I've spilled more than I've actually used though ha!
*Essie Leading Lady from the new collection is my current favourite polish. See here for pics and review
*Sally Hansen Double Duty base and top coat has made enough of a difference in my home manicures for me to include it in my favourites. I've never stuck to using products like this before, I've never been impressed with them. But this is quality. It feels very thick and makes at least a one-two day difference to my nails before I get a catastrophic chip. It seals glitter top coats and stops them being uneven and scratchy. Love this, and for about a fiver you really can't go wrong.

What have you been loving this month?
